You're small fry DervProf and not worth the candle.
"forum drubbing" :rotfl:
I eventually left, after failing to get an answer to a perfectly reasonable question, to spend an evening with an old school friend. Turns out he's considerably more wealthy than myself, but doesn't go on about it. Maybe that's why I think he's a decent human being. and enjoy his company.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

Only a couple, didn't stay over on that occasion.
A visit in the near future will involve a larger number of beverages.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

I wouldn't say "daily", and it's over now anyway. I'm almost in tears after the latest "drubbing".
At least he puts up a bit of a fight these days, instead of claiming that he's being stalked, or that I'm geneer etc.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

Au contrair. You meant to say "Derv turns up for his daily drubbing off RM".
As I keep saying, he's not worth the candle anymore, he's third tier on the discussion front. I argue at the top table now. I argue with geneer! :cool:0 -

LOL, he didn't even notice your 'pop' at him, what a muppet. Yes, he's looking forward to a larger number of beverages for free off his rich mate. Of course most of the rest of us prefer to pay our own way, regardless of how much our pals may earn.
We're not so cheap.
Tsk, it's too easy.:cool:0 -

I think he did.... he's not as green as you are cabbage looking.
It would have been hard to miss it. It's just it was an obvious and easy pop and it wasn't meant seriously so hardly needed a lengthy denial or a cutting riposte.
I know some find it hard to believe, but it's not always necessary to have the last word.
At this point, he now admits he did miss it and I'll re-assess the universe0 -

Speak for yourself. Happy to be bought and paid for. Would be nice.

I'm missed off again! Any particular reason geneer.... or is just by pure chance?
I think you'll find I've never said I'm sure you don't own. Much as I'm not 100% you do own. After all couldn't this just be another 2 year "joke"?
I'm not basing it on the rectangle either. Haven't commented on it.
RM has uncovered one interesting aspect though.
Your desire to keep how much you pay on your mortgage a secret.
And I've now gone and hit the nail on the head by discovering it's simply because you don't want to let on how much you had to borrow.... and presumbly therefore by deduction how much your deposit was.
Tell me.... Halifax always used to lend amongst the highest LTV's.... any chance they still do???
You big ol' cuddly wuddly fuzzy wuzzy overstretched debt junkie you.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Right you are JB.
RM managed to "uncover" the fact that I explicitly stated, several times, I don't want to reveal the value my mortgage amount.
He and you are clearly internet detectives of the highest calibre.
And JB, if you're going to attempt completely witless feuds with completely meaningless angles of attack, do please get your facts right.
The latest comedy fall back "Geneer must have a big mortgage" is entierly based on the size of a little rectangle.
Hopefully, when you realise just what you're digging yourself into, you might have a word with yourself. But probably not.0
