Hotel Voucher and refund

Hi All, I am after some advice. I have bought a £100 voucher for a Hotel in Newquay who never call me back!! I got a voucher for my dad and his fiance but there have now split up. I called them with 7 days of placing my order and told them that I would like a refund as the voucher doesnt become effective till christmas day. However no one calls me back. Should i be entitled to a refund? I have read the terms and conditions but it doesnt mention about vouchers. As the voucher hasnt started it yet what happens with my rights? Ring them again, and again, and again, insist on speaking to the manager.

Why not give the voucher to your dad anyway, he may want to either go himself of take a friend/member ot the family with him.

I dont think (but I really dont know) that you will get your money back.

DSR would not apply to hotel accomodation so you may struggle to get a refund. You could try and ask for a goodwill refund but if they don't return your calls you will have to write to them.

they did not book hotel accomodation, they purchased a voucher, so DSR could apply
