    My bathroom is like that and we got the house when it was done like that

    Its a right pain because I want to replace the gold taps and bath hand holders and they are discolouring

    We hate bathroom but cant afford to replace it it doenst look that awful but its just not to our taste

    I got some Jeyes unblocker and one of those cheap shops and it did trick for our shower. I tried the plunger and I also have a thing that goes down the hole and you turn it goes some hair out but the chemicals worked

    Once you've cleared the blockage get something like this:

    I dont think that would work in my shower as it would move around, the plug hole is flush with the shower tray

    You can get soft plastic ones with suckers but I don't know if they will stay put.

    Since its organic waste, get some acid from a plumber or a thermo reactive cleaner like volcano.

    I got round the same problem by squirting hair removal cream down it. It hasn't damaged the chrome and I've been using it for 5 years now.
