I am looking to go to the new wembly stadium in October of this year and being from Newcastle I have no idea where would be the best to stay.
ideally a hotel close (walking distance) to the stadium would be best but not essential.
Can anyone make any recomendations?
Thanks in advance

We got a really cheap deal at the Wembley Hilton a couple of years ago through DH's company, but to be honest I didn't think much of it as a 'luxury' hotel and the area wasn't the best to stay in  - we spent all our time in central London.
But if you're specifically going to the stadium then it might be worth seeing if there are any discount Hilton codes etc. available."I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...."0 -
This Wembley Arena map shows you the hotels in the area. (I think I'm right in saying that the Stadium is just across from the Arena...)0

I stayed at the Ibis which is about a 10 min walk. Friend and I paid about £55 for 1 night twin room - would recommend it.0

I guess there's an 'Event' on there? In which case the hotels within walking distance will probably be full already.
Why not book into somewhere adjacent to one of the Jubilee Line tube stops in Central London? The service is good into town from Wembley. We did that in 2005 when we were at the 'Arena' (aka blow-up tent!) for a concert and it was easy peasey. :j:D:beer::eek::A:p:rotfl::cool::):(:T0 -
