Call me dense but how is the phone call going to generate the information to nectar to know to add the points? Is it going to happen through your phone bill or do the people you call have to keep some kind of log? Or is this just a completely random (and possibly untrue) thread?!!Little lady arrived 13/12/110

From the Nectar Website
"Collect 50 Nectar points for using your 2007 Thomson Local
Whatever you want, from florists to window cleaners, look out for ads that feature the Nectar logo. It's simple - call on the special Nectar telephone number, enter your card details and once we connect you, you'll earn 50 points.*
* Maximum of 1,000 points in a 12 month period. Second and subsequent calls to the same advert in a seven day period will not be eligible for points."
so it works kind of like directory enquires (I think?). Wonder if the number is one that would be excluded from call package minutes?0 -

No problem RoCas.
The link you gave actually explains it better than the Nectar one.0 -
Every Nectar advertiser in the Thomson Local has their own special phone number. When you call them, you enter your Nectar account number and it automatically rewards you with 50 Nectar points.
Bearing in mind you would have to spend £ 25 in Sainsburys to get 50 points, it's a pretty good deal!

Do you know, I was thinking that myself. I don't want to call the number and end up being routed through a premium rate line or something.
If it's standard call charges I'll def. be doing this one."carpe that diem"0 -
