Noticed these 5ft trees when in store this morning. Not a bad looking tree, not majorly bushy but would look fine decorated up with some nice lights.
I'm going back to pick one up for my office, the one we currently have up is an old tinsel style one and has seen better days. So for £1 we can have a nice new tree next year.0 -
Just popped in to the Towcester store - only a small one and the place was deserted. I thought that maybe they didn't have a sale on.
There is only a small area of Xmas stuff, but quite a lot left - plenty of baubles and wooden stocking filler toys. I think most of the trees are the basic ones (only £1!) and ones in a bag.
I got some 50p wrapping paper and a fibre optic tree for £5 which now looks very nice in our dining room :T
This is the tree - http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=110&storeId=10151&partNumber=1644788
looks much nicer than the photo (but not worth £59.99!)0 -
Gutted. Looked at the trees a couple of weeks ago but couldn't justify over £100 for a tree. Just been to my local store and there is absolutely nothing left. Nevermind. There is always next year.
I wouldn't have paid the original price of £200 for the tree although it is lovely, again I couldn't justify £99 for it either, I just seen you're in Cheshire, shame I'm in Cornwall and just checked the stock in my store and they appear to have 8 left.0 -

I've just got back from the Harlow store too
There wasn't much that I liked the look of, but I managed to get a 5th tree for £1 :j
I bought some individual decorations for 50p and wrapping paper also 50p.
I found a big plum vase on the shelf labelled £1 and noticed it had a crack at the top. Nothing you would notice once it has flowers in and turned the other way so I took it to the till. It went through as £9.99 but I told the lady where I found it and she asked another guy what to do and he said do it for £1 and didn't seem bothered at all :rotfl:Saving my pennies for my wedding on 10th August 2013!:j

I went to my local and got 3 boxes of decs for £3 and a Christmas Candle for 50p, wasnt much left, couldnt see any christmas trees at all! Not that I need one as I dont have anyway to put it, I would have only got one to put away for when I get my own place!
Pleased with the baubles though, they will go straight into the loft with my other boxes of moving out stuff!Slimming World Member - Started 05/02/150 -
