Car Tax
I have been away overseas with work and have recently returned and forgot to tax my car before I left. Is it possible to go to the Post Office and back date it to when it expired?

I don't think the post office keep a supply of back dated tax discs.
Did you SORN it? If not you will probably expect a fine from DVLA soon. But there is ways to get around that.0 -
If you went and paid for it now it would show as running from the 1st December to 30th November 2012 ( or 31st May 2012 if six months tax purchased). You wouldn't be able to backdate it any further than that. When did it expire?"You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"
