missed deadline to accept PPI offer what next?

Hi I claimed back PPI from Barclays but meanwhile I have changed my address, called them and inform them. They start sending me my statements to the right address then.
Today I just checked my old house for some letters and I found one from Barclays telling me I can claim back the miss sold PPI(£40) in 10 days.
The letter is dated 27 oct.2011.They mentions that in their files I was changing my address and advised me to call them too.How is this possible, they knew and have my new address but still keep sending me letters to my old address regarding PPI,hoping me to miss the deadlines for claiming back it.
What to do?I will send the acceptance form back to them today anyway, but Can I do something if they say it is too late.I can put my new address there on the form but I dont know ,they just asked me for bank details to transfer the money nothing else.
Barclayscard know my address any way...Confused.

You will probably find they have separate depts for the PPI complaints and whilst you would think they would check the main account before writing out they probably don't.
Worth sending off with a note explaining their error.
