It's not the PDL who's stealing from you. It's you stealing from them by not repaying what you owe.Should I be entitled to this money back? should I also report the, to trading standards as I see this as fraud/stealing?I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
I love this sort of question. It usually means the person asking the question has backed themselves in to a corner and believes others should pay for their errors. What are my Rights?
You have the right to close your bank account - if you don't owe the bank anything.
You have the right to open a new bank account and not tell this company the details.
You have the right to refuse to pay them back at all through any other account.
They have the right to trash your credit file, obtain court judgements against you or, in some circumstances, make you bankrupt. If they do any of these things it may well do you a favour and stop you from being so stupid again in future.0 -
What pressure? Xmas is just another time of year. In reality it means nothing.
You don't hear people saying "I'm feeling the pressure of St Andrews Day".
Ridiculous.
I suppose you'll be neck deep in it by the new year unless you get a grip.
The word "Xmas" just sends people into a "Spend Spend Spend" mode and they feel pressured to spend money so they can follow the crowd.
OP you dont need to spend at xmas, it isnt neccesary, have you followed any of the advice that was given to you on the DFW. Maybe A NY resolution would be to not use a PDL company.
I also did not authorize the payments.
Should I be entitled to this money back? should I also report the, to trading standards as I see this as fraud/stealing?
First off I believe you authorised the transaction by giving away your card details.
Secondly why would TS be interested when the PDL have done no wrong except get some of they're money back, its not fraud(why would you say this) and its not stealing as i explained above.0 -
