As an ex CEO I can admit I've done a few stupid PCNs in my time. Sometimes for some reason the brain goes into zombie mode where despite something being right in front of you, you just don't recognise it and knock out a PCN.
I done a few for overstaying.. that still had a valid P&D ticket, another one for no ticket and it was stuck on the drivers door window, I did a dustcart once for being in a taxi rank.. the list goes on. I had another colleague who issued to 16 vehicles in the same road once.. and then realised it was a sunday and the restriction didn't apply! Stupid things do happen in the world of parking they're only human but it can be distressing if you get a wrongful ticket so I'm glad to hear you've had some good news!0
