Community Interest Company Annual Return

Hi
I set up a CIC a year ago & have just had a request to submit my annual return to Companies House But this didn't cover the CI statement, nor have I had any reminder about that. I have found this site http://www.bis.gov.uk/cicregulator/forms-introduction/index/cic-reports-accounts which says I should send the statement & my accounts in plus a cheque but I'm reluctant to do that without having been asked to. Can anyone help?
