Has anyone ever been contacted by 01264325540? i was out but a family member said they called. i googled the number and it came up with atos medical appointments.
the last time i filled in a ESA50 was in september and i heard nothing back.

my Mum however filled in a ESA50 form in November and in her letter it said they will be in contact if they need to be from december 13th

does anyone have an idea of why they asked for me? i thought if you didint hear anything then all is well? especially after 3 months of recieving ESA

My last medical was in July 2010, where they wrote to me in Feb 2011, sent back a esa50 and heard nothing.

Many thanks for any help

They can call you for a medical at any point. It is likely that this is what they want - I'm not sure if sometimes the questionnaire isn't sent, or if it gets lost in the post occasionally.

Unless you are certain you aren't up for reassessment, I'd phone back and book a medical. If they don't find a note on your file, it could be that they named the wrong person when phoning and actually wanted your Mum - although this is much more rare.

If you got a letter in February stating you didn't need a medical, you are probably less likely to need one...but if you just didn't hear anything, it could be that they are only just getting round to you.
  • I have not recieved a questionnaire, as normally they leave me alone for 6 months at a time.
they are phoning back at 10am tomorrow so i will know for sure who they want.

    thankyou for your help
