I think id be getting onto the local press and giving them some free advertising, kids in tears fuming parents and any other heart wrenching statements to show them the error of their ways

I have been frustrated with minibus hire recently - I wanted to hire a bus for one day (Saturday) but because they don't open on Sundays, more than one company insisted that I pay for a full two-day loan.

I mean, I sort of see where they're coming from, but it's very frustrating - effectively taking a group on a trip on a Saturday costs double. Fortunately in the end, a branch of Europcar were very reasonable and said I could pay for one day if I promised not to drive it on Sunday and had it back first thing on Monday morning (which I did). They will definitely get our custom again in the future :)

    What a strange post.

Care to explain why you apparently don't believe the OP?

Do you know something about them that's not evident here?

For, instance, are they in the habit of making up bogus posts?

If not then how can you be, apparently, so sure that this isn't true?

I don't immediately disbelieve it, I've had lots of let downs and rudeness out of various companies and individuals over the years. So at first sight I find this credible. Doesn't appear to have overt signs of being made up tosh, not to me. Or is it obvious and I'm just missing the signs. You make me wonder if I'm being a bit dim seeing as it appears to be so clear and obvious to you.

I'm also fairly skeptical and fairly aware of and interested in fraud, scams, lying etc but I can't immediately see any obvious lying or absurdity in the OP's post. But, again, perhaps am I just being blinkered. And actually it's staring me in the face, blatantly so, but I just can't see it, even though it's right in front of my nose.

Yes, rather odd and inexplicable. But if there is a straightforward explanation then would you like to post it please, thanks if you do.

Oh! Tee hee! Ho ho ho! Silly me! Ta for putting me out of my mystery.

    Yo ho ho!

Yes, I thought that there was something I wasn't getting about it. What an odd post.

That's funny. And doubly funny that I didn't get it. Went straight over my head. Oh well, I haven't been to panto for about 45 years and I didn't even like it then so perhaps not surprising that I still don't get it. Anyway, I have now, with your help, ta, and a very merry Crimbo to you. Goody.

Well, there's a lot that you don't get on here, all the time, Oliver nasty chops. You're frequently being rude and obnoxious to people, normally completely gratuitously so. As many people have to pull you up for all the time. Here you are doing it yet again, it's compulsive with you, just reflex action to be nasty, any time you can. So that's ironic coming from you, you of all people!

For comparison, whereas the other pleasant poster just calmly explained it to me, with a little jokette to go with it, you have to be your usual nasty sneery numpty self! Oh dear! Bah humbug to you too, you utter twit! You sad revolting pathetic little loser.
