Mouseprice - Can I access people who have made comments

Not sure if this is the correct thread, so please forgive me if not.

Messing about, I accessed Mouseprice to find someone has put a very derogatory downright rude comment against my home. I'm surprised they allowed the post to go on their website.

Anyway, my question is:.......Do I have any legal right to find out who added this comment?? I can only think it is someone who is jealous....I'm not aware of any one who would do this?? but who knows.

I've emailed them asking them to provide the user's details, but am wondering if I have any right to this info, and if I do - any idea the procedure. Many Thanks

hhaha oh dear. Just checked surrounding houses. Someone has put exactly the same comment on loads of houses in the streeet. Obviously a real saddo

Not sure its worth the effort. I'd just ask the site to take the comment down. Of course if you consider it libellous then the site is as liable as the person wot rote it and the merest suggestion of same will have them jumping through hoops backwards to cooperate with you.

Ya, I've emailed them asking them to remove the comments against my home & many neighbouring properties. I was a bit concerned initially thinking they had just targetting my home, but upon checking they've targetted many houses in the street. Maybe further - I only checked about half a dozen neighbouring houses & all have exactly the same comment. Poor saddo -- Many Thanks
