And the point of this thread is? And the value of any of the posts on it, this one included? When was the last time there was actually any sensible descussion of the economy and the issues realating to the housing market in this board? I just do not understand.

You must admit though it's a great idea, later this morning I'm thinking of checking out what share prices were 2 years ago and see if I can snap up some bargains.

like all good things there comes a time when btl is not the cash cow some percieve it to be. because there are more peoplpe waiting to get on the property ladder they are having to rent. when the economy turns a corner peolpe will start to get mortgages. btl landlords will struggle to fill their properties rents will come down. simplistic view I know.
