Just wanted to say i have had body butters that where unopened and about 3 years old and where perfect when opened, if you ask in store ( i asked in 2 different shops,) and was told the butters will keep for over 2 years as long as they are sealed/unopend , also keep them in a cool place ,
hope the helps someone:wave:0 -
I am really sensitive to that 'old off fat' smell you get in old lotions/moisturisers and have never had that from a body shop body butter, and I have always put them away for up to 2 years and use them in order of purchase. They are always fine. I also opened a 2 year old vanilla body shop diffuser the other day and it was gorgeous. I store mine in a cold cupboard though, so maybe the ones that had gone off had been beside a radiator/warm place.0

I found a hemp body butter (unopened) and a strawberry one (opened) in my loft about 3 months ago. They were in a box of stuff from a house we lived in over 7yrs ago so they're at least that old and they're absolutely fine- even the open one! Gotta love the body shop
I've bought a ridiculous amount recently so they better still be as long lasting as the two I've just rediscovered! Lol
Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0 -
Well after some of you saying you had kept stuff longer than I had that hadn't gone off I have tried to email Body Shop re the products however the email has bounced back twice saying undeliverable. Can't go into the shop as they have recently closed down their store where I live. By the way I hadn't stored them in a warm place. The diffusers in particular were especially horrible - a really strong disgusting chemical smell with no fragrance whastsoever. So glad others have not had this problem. It really has put me off buying and storing Body Shop stuff now - oh well maybe that's not such a bad idea!0

I know I shouldnt ( lol) but Bodyshop just announced on FB that they are having yet another sale!

I have used the Body shop for over 25 years God am i that old. Have never had a problem. This year for the 1st time I tried to use a voucher code for all my Christmas bits and bobs. What a nightmare! It was only an extra £5.00 off.
They over charged me twice, not by just a little but a lot. The bill with the love your body card full price was just under £130 ish ( presents for the kids and family lol). 1st they charged me just over £200. I checked the bill and found that they had over charged me by £72. When I told them still at the check out I was made to feel like a pain. Other customers where waiting and I was made to feel really stupid.
Sorry buy the last time I go to the body shop- shame !
So is it just me or do the Body shop offer sales, and then don't tell the staff how to administer them or was I just really really unlucky ?Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A0
