Hi Guys. I have just started Skyping my friend abroad and when I checked my broadband usage it stated I've used about 250 mb for a 12 minute video call. So as I have only 10gb limit I have to be careful. What I want to know is even if I am making the video call will she still be using as much mb's as me (cos she can't check her usage) for receiving the call. Many Thanks.

Im pretty certain in temrs of data usage that she will have used exactly the same as you. Could i suggest skype calling without the video, this should substantially cut down your data usage.0

She can monitor her use with this program0

Yes, the usage will be roughly the same. Video Calling uses significantly more data than voice.0
