Insurance Fees

Options
When I find a good price for your car insurance, how much research should I do around fees, should this put me off going ahead with a policy? thanks

Comments

  • It doesnt take much "research", there tends to be two, one admin fee and the other cancellation fee. Whilst we never know whats going to happen, thats after all why we have insurance, if you know you are going to be moving home or getting a new car etc then the fees are going to be more relevant. If you arent intending to do anything that could result in fees then they are of less relevance.

Most publish their terms. So, it shoudlnt take a few seconds. Increasingly you are seeing other things, like maximum NCD, being published as well.

As long as you know that policies are not all the same and you check the key points then you should be fine.
