How long do you have to wait for buyer to pay?

I sold a brand new jacket thats sold out everywhere, how long do i have to wait for the buyer to pay? I really want to relist and post out by special delivery by 23rd dec but this buyer does not respond to any of my emails :@
They won the jacket saturday night, how much longer do i sit tight

After exactly 4 days you can raise a Non Paying Bidder dispute. The buyer then has a further 4 days to pay before you can close that dispute and relist

a total of 8 days urgh hate it when they do that!
I clearly said payment within 3 days
Can never sell by xmas now

Buyers are bound by eBay terms, not what you put in your listing. Just be patient.

Yes I know, but can get frustrating when you just want to post and get it all over and done with by xmas

Sure, I appreciate that. But it's just part and parcel of selling on eBay. Some people are quick and some will take an age. As long as you get your money, that's the most important thing.

Maybe the buyer was a timewaster and saw the pay within 3 days and thought lets have some fun.

If you file a dispute and they then pay what will your thoughts be when you goto post it?

I think he/she is a timewaster as i have emailed 4 times since saturday, and so annoying because from day one i had a funny feeling so i decided that when he/she does decides to pay i will send via special delivery as opposed to the recorded i said i would.

Feedback is 0! I have all my buyer requirements in place, so it doesnt look like they've done this before. Ive sold quite a few things but all others have paid.

Stop emailing, they may decide you are hassling them and pay even later just to annoy you back. 4 emails since saturday is excessive and since you can't do anything until day 4 anyway just leave it be.
