Can we keep to insurers we are with & save ?

Hubby has had the car insured with More Than for a few years BECAUSE they say he'll always keep his no claims (which is maximum ) no matter how many accident(s) he MAY have AS LONG AS HE STAYS WITH THEM ! :T

SO.. how does he go about getting it cheaper BUT staying with them as he cannot get his head around all of this  & we have never used Quidco & PayPal & confused.com so it's all new & confusing.

Also, I went into Quidco site & registered BUT I cannot find where to look for the car insurance companies. ( again !)

Please would someone kindly explain what hubby needs to do.

Firsly login in to quidco and search for more than - you will see that the result brings up More Than, Use that link to get a quote and buy online and you will get £50.00

Search for Car insurance providers via quidco

    Click Finance

    Then Life and Auto insurance

Also do quotes on Confused.com and moneysupermarket.com and see what is the cheapest. Then check what Cashback Quidco offer.

    Hope that helps

  • I've clicked on the "thanks" for you for above info, marcellep.

I've copied all onto a draft email to show hubby tonight (easier FOR HIM to find !) His insurance isn't due for months but he'll take that time to organise himself :o I've looked in Quidco & saved relevant pages for him to go directly to, anything for a quiet life ! We also have our home contents with MoreThan so will get quotes for THAT too
  • I think that will only work if he has not made a claim since being insured with More Than.

To do the above you need to cancel your policy and then buy a new one - as far as I remember there are criteria for getting new policy rather than renewing and qualifying for the lifetime NCD - will need to check if he will still qualify or not... if he doesnt then it is a call at the end of the year to see if they will lower the premium to retain the business but dont hold your breath
