Either cheap or last minute seats to BANGLADESH!!!

Okay, I'm probably the first on MSE to ask for tickets to Bangladesh but my parents need to go within a week or two max and need cheap tickets asap.

I heard of empty seats which are given away at cheap prices just before check in, is this true? Basically, I heard they do this because an emtpy seat is a loss whereas someone paying even half the price is better than empty seats?

Anyways, need a ticket to Bangladesh...Single preffered, dont mind return, any CHEAP ones out there?

Dont mind what airlines they use....we mostly use the top notch airlines such as Emirates & Kuwait but this time they dont mind.

Any advice is appreciated,

Bangladesh is hard to get cheap flights for.

I would think the cheapest route would be a flight to BKK (Bangkok) and then use Bangladesh national carrier into Bangladesh. I got a price some time ago for this route when i was in BKK though i cannot remember how much it was though it was cheap. If i was on a fast net connection i would try and help you though currently stuck in Fiji and the connection is not like home!

Where did you get that figure from? My dads over 60 now so surely he should be eligible to some sort of discount.

From reading the posts above it seems to me like you want the seats for nowt!

I'm all in favour of poeple getting good deals but for crying out loud your off to Bangladesh, not the most popular destination in the world now is it?

i doubt you will get cheap tickets to any asian countries except india.

Maybe they could get a cheap flight to Mumbai (or a charter to Goa) and then just walk over the border. Or would they have trouble getting visas for India in the time available?
