You should be able to find the formal complaints procedure either on their website or in your paperwork.

Send them a sworn affidavit that the damage you are claiming is caused by the accident and that refusal to repair it will result in you signing the work off as incomplete, not accepting any final offers and you will avail yourself of your legal right to have the vehicle restored to pre accident condition via the courts.

nd you will avail yourself of your legal right to have the vehicle restored to pre accident condition via the courts.

Be aware you'll have to pay for the work up front, wait a long time for your money back and pay the court costs.
If you have legal insurance that you bought via the insurer you will NOT be able to use it to sue the insurer.

If admiral withdraw the hire car you have no choice but to return, otherwise enterprise will report it as stolen if its not been paid for. Your disputes with admiral.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

I had a voicemail from Enterprise today saying they need it back or will charge me for excess usage!

I phoned them and told them the situation again, and they advised me to get Admiral to update their systems as Admiral have direct access to Enterprise computers so can update the end-date themselves.

Have just emailed Admiral again at their claim@claimdept.co.uk address (as per their letter) but no response expected.

working in the car accident repair business basically it is down to the insurance company basically the repairer will submit a estimate to the insurance company if the repairer feels that there maybe a problem with old damage etc pictures etc will be submitted to the insurance company who make the decision they will sometimes send out a enginner to look at the vehicle who will make a decision. once that decision is made and the repairs are completed to the original estmate and insurance approval notification is given to the owner informing any excess to be paid etc . Insurance companies are getting very touchy nowadays Ive seen time and time again cars that have damage which is quite blatently old damage yet is been repaired. Insurance companies are also throwing claims out even if a set of aftermarket wheels are fitted etc and they havent been notified. If admiral withdraw the hire car you have no choice to return it otherwise it will cost you.
  • On July 26th. my daughter was involved in a collision with a lorry. The lorry driver said straight away he didnt see her.We have done everything that admiral and Albany have asked for. As of today my daughter has still not been given the go ahead to get the car fixed. We seem to be in the waiting cycle. It's a 4-way switch, admiral communicates iratically with Albany (underwriters),who in turn communicate haphazardly the other party's insurance company ant their underwriters. I just am so frustrated its taking 5 months to get sorted.

I'm happy for an engineer to come and have a look. It seems they've done it through photos so far (or so they say).

In this accident both of us were insured by Admiral so I figured the whole thing would be simpler.

Shouldn't need the travel receipts part as they have already arranged a courtesy car which I've had for 4 weeks now and I'm refusing to give it back until I've spoken to my contact's manager!
Hi, you say here that you have a 'courtesy car' however elsewhere you state that Enterprise are involved.
The situation is that they nominated a garage to pick up the car and arrange a courtesy car through Enterprise
If the car is from Enterprise then it is not a courtesy car but a hire car and at the end of the day someone has to pay for the hire costs.

Does your insurance actually state you are entitled to a courtesy car ( provided by the repairer during the repairs-but not before the repairs ) or a hire car ??

The fact that both drivers are insured by the same insurer actually complicates the situation.

If you are 100% sure that you are blameless bypass Admiral and ring an accident management company such Wynns or A1 Claims who will fight your corner.

100% sure I am blameless however have already had Admiral repair the car. Its an Enterprise car, a hire car but is provided as a courtesy car to me (Admiral's words on the phone, not mine). I know someone has to pay the costs, and until now, its Admiral that pays this. Its only since this dispute that I may become liable for extra charges!
