Looks like they have issued quite a few slots for 6pm on Thurs. Hopefully the site won't crash as it has done in previous sales.

i have been told by Next CS that i am going to be getting an email but still haven't got it yet, not happy!!!

Can any of you that have booked your slots tell me in the email you get do you choose your slot yourself or are you allocated one?? Also is there a link someone could post please?

yes you choose one, but to be honest if you don't get the 1st one it's not worth getting one at all, everything goes in minutes.

Ooooh I got in on a first slot too, is it possible to put things in your basket now so you can just check if they're in the sale when you log in or do you have to trawl through it all?

I just want to look at kids clothes really, it'll be nice not to miss out for a change!

you have to log in via your vip sale slot - you can't put anything in ahead of time. Best thing to do is make a list of your most wanted, and use quick shop. Check out then go back in and get the rest...

I rang up too as usually always get one and been quite lucky with always getting first ones. Been told what everyone else has been told that they're going out in batches. I did question though that if that was the case would thy not mean all the 'good slots' would go. The CS stated that the timings were varied for each slot meaning (from what I could gather) that you could get an email up to 22nd and still get one of the first slots 6pm thurs). So it might not mean if you haven't got an email yet that all hope is not last and you could still get a 6pm slot. I don't know if I totally believe this and think it might be more of a case that those getting slots now will get the best slots, as everyone who's said they've had one has said its thurs 6pm. I've been told I'd definitely be getting one but when I go to the page it says sorry and when I log in it doesn't have a blue banner for me at all:-(

I was told that would get a slot this pm am still waiting, advisor told me between now & thurs, but tbh if don't get a first slot everything will go anyway...Blummin Next... Driving me bonkers

Got a bit of a bee in my bonnet and called back to ask for a clearer explanation (v nicely) I questioned the batches idea (apparent,y this is because they can't all be sent in one go) and asked how the batches were determined, ie was it alphabetical, is it random or is it based on criteria as obviously all those getting emails now WILL get best time slots. CS confirmed it was first come first served (meaning the original I of I'd been given above was incorrect so I'm glad I rang just for the fact that's been clarified). The CS said she understood what I was saying so put me through to The IT department. Basically they said as above they're sent in batches and he was not privy to how they batches were chosen. I asked how some people who hadn't even had emails could log in and get a slot but he couldn't answer tht either ( he simply didn't know) so the stock answer is wait for your email and advice from here is log into your account regularly too. It's worth ringing them to as if you've been chosen in first place as will mean you don't waste time logging in checking email and waiting (and wondering lol)!

Exactly the same as what I just did and gopt told, I said that I was disappointed as if my email does not come until Weds night then how will I get a 6pm slot on Thursday which IS the first slot and she said that we wouldnt as it is first come first served!! All she said was she was sorry

She went through to the IT department and they have said that they do not even know when the link will be sent so they cannot guarantee that I will get a good slot...will wait for it and then see what time it offers me but if I do not get it tonight then I know that I am not going to get a decent time and therefore I will give up, will save me alot of money anyway, lol,
