Closing Groupon account

Options
I don't really know where to post this but thought this would be the best place.

How do I close my Groupon account, the first and only time using them was a nightmare and now I can't find an easy way of closing my account.

Anyone know how?

You don't have an "account" per se, each transaction is treated in isolation. To stop their emails simply unsubscribe using the link on the email.
  • I have to agree with original poster, and I also think they take liberties. they send an automated acknowledgement to your query emails, they dont not respond to them. I have waited 4 days on an answer and am still waiting.

Impatient much? Two of those four days have been a weekend, give them a break!

This, seriously 2 days and you're annoyed you've not received a reply?

I have been a member of MSE for several years and I'm disappointed to see an increase in the number of people who make unnecessary comments on others misfortune. If you can't say anything positive or supportive then say nothing. They really do need to go get a life of their own. Maybe they get a buzz being unsupportive I don't know, but, If they consider themselves to be clever enough to pass comment may I suggest they go find some voluntary work eg: CAB, MIND I'm sure charities would apppreciate their help.

Why is it an unnecessary comment to point out it had only been two normal working days and maybe you are being a little impatient. Are necesary comments ones that only agree with you? If you get offended by that maybe the internet isn't for you

Groupon hsve taken money Illegally from my A/c, the promised £5 "Gift" was actually charged. You may close your a/c but they still have your CC details, and its not just 2 days, its now weeks and several e-mails later they don't reply to!
