Canon Pixma MG5250 vs MG6150

Hi all,

I am looking to buy a printer in the next couple of weeks. I need a wireless printer which prints double sided. I have narrowed it down to a choice of either the Canon Pixma MG5250 vs Canon Pixma MG6150. They are both £99 in PC World at the moment.

I would like to buy the MG6150 but noticed it has 6 cartridges which puts me off. Does anyone have this printer? If so, would you recommend buying it?

If it helps, the 6150 has a better scanning resolution

Seems you just install 6 cartridges not 5. Other than that it should run the same

I have the 5250, its been installed about 4 weeks now and I love it. It is quiet, the quality is great, double sided printing is a doddle (had an HP C7250 and even though it was meant to do double sided printing it never quite managed it in 2 years) It was easy to link up to my desktop and daughters laptop. Its better than I expected. I got it from Best Buy for £49.95 on a recommendation from this site.
