Is it possible to get flights to australia for £400/£500 flying out in the summer, is it a good time to go in the summer, not sure when i could be going but june/july time at least

It depends what you want..
The GBR is great diving around winter time (June/July) though if your after hot sunny days then not so good. Don't get me wrong it will be nice but just not as nice as summer for them (December).
