A good sling (close carrier / moby recommended for first timers with a newborn )
Nappies/wipes (I part time EC'd so saved a lot of money there, and I cut up old fleece blankets for wipes so unless it was a disgusting poo I used them :) )
Some baby grows and vests (family will buy the rest ;) )
    Outer suit
Breast pads (there are many reusable types out there, but I leaked a lot and the only ones that did the trick were Tommee Tippee ones)
Blankets (we got these knitted by family so didn't buy any, also had some left over from previous babies)
    Muslin clothes (5/6 )

ETA car seat if you have a car

Babies can very very cheap. This was all we bought for my 3rd :)
    NSDs 7/20
    Make £10 a day £403.74/£310
