Battery replacement for remote central locking

As per the title the battery in both sets of keys which operates the remote central locking is nearly flat. Having never had this before how do we go about changing it?

The car is a mazda 5. The obvious answer is take it to mazda but i fear they will be very expensive so was wondering if there is a quicker and less painful (to my wallet) way of doing it?

Any ideas?

One post (first?) from the first link interested me, dealer tried to charge £45 for supplying and fitting a new battery to a plipper.

Service desk staff at Mazda dealers ride in on black horses, sporting three cornered hats and a black kerchief over their faces waving flintlocks menacingly and answer to the name of !!!!!! these days?

if its panasonic cr1620 batteries they cost £1 on amazon
