Hi All,
I have to oldest cooker in town, the gas man that came to look at it wanted to disconnect it.
I am hoping to get a cooker in the January sales. Does anyone know what the best buy is in terms of price and efficiency? Does anyone have access to the Which best buys and post the best and most econnomical here.
Also any tips for getting one as cheap as possible in the sales. I really have to limit the budget as much as possible with a little one and another one of the way!
Thanks everyone

You can get them for around the £200, that's excluding delivery and installation. Comet and Curry's both have options instore, but you may want to take a look at Comet Clearance Gas Cookers
It's an auction site ran by comet... essentially anything that is returned by customers is checked and then sold on their clearance site at a knock-down price. Think eBay comet styleeeee
With gas cookers you need to factor in installation by a gas safe engineer, I'm sure I read somewhere that the warrant is voided if it isn't installed by one, not to mention the fact that you might die if it leaks too.0 -
Bit of a late reply, just seen your post. You can see copies of Which at your local library; their latest report shows the 26 best buys.'Yaze whit yeh hive an ye'll niver wahnt'
