Doing up a newly refurbished bathroom and need bath, shower, basin and toilet. Can afford reasonable quality and know there are big discounts off list available on Ideal Standard (40%), Roca and other well-known makes. Am I pretty safe sticking to these or are there companies that offer similar quality but better value.

You need to provide a more exhaustive list of which brands you can get discounts from....

Also a less general idea of prices you are willing to pay

Pretty well all the main brands offer 20% minimum and I may be able to get more through a builder friend. Doble bathrooms seem to have 40% off Ideal Standard across the range. I have looked at IS, Roca, Simpsons and Bette so far and they all have stuff I like. I have also looked at Grohe showers and taps.

I've seen people mention that Grohe showers are very good...
