Credit card repayment insurance

I just received my credit card application form from 2001 and it seems that i ticked the box for credit card repayment insurance.Is that the same as PPI?Thank you

It is a form of PPI.
However, if you ticked the box, why do you think that was misselling by the bank (which is its responsibility) rather than mispurchasing by you (which is your responsibility)?0 -

Hello again.On the basis that i was pushed to tick the box.And also i was not really informed what that insurance is all about.The condition was to tick the box and to have the credit card.Do not know how i am going to prove it if i have to but that is the case.By the way everything on the application is written by the clerk on computer so technically it was not me that tick the box.What is your opinion and thanks for the reply0
