Hi All,
After years of money worries both my husband and I are going to petition for backruptcy on Monday.
We have the forms ready and will be paying the £1400 cash on Monday, however wanted to know will it happen on Monday or do we have to go back on appointment?, as we want it over and done with pretty quick as im 36 weeks pregnant.
Either way we are looking forward to a fresh start.
Thanks.

Did you check whether your Court does a drop in service or appointments for BR petitions? Also that it's the right Court according to your home address? When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

Husband has just given the HP car back to the company a couple of weeks back and we saved up a little cash and father in law gave us some money to buy a cheap car, probs worth about £1000 if that.
I do hope the OR doesnt want to take the car away from us?
Thanks.0 -
Hi and welcome to the forum:) If it is a drop in service, and you get seen that day, then it will all be done and dusted on the day. Good luck and hope it goes well for you:):pB&SC No. 298

hi...now is the time to start preparing your arguments and evidence to support those argumentation, for the exemption of your car as an asset in either of your BR's...[only one can 'own' it, so evidence of ownership is useful.......also useful is to ensure whoever owns it can successfully argue for its exemption.]

Double, triple, quadrouple your forms. Mine very nearly didn't happen because the court clerk didn't like some of my date entries concerning the inception of the debts (very complicated once you have balance transfers etc involved). This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
