Online Shopping Accounts - Email Change Hassle

Does anyone else have hassle with emails on online shopping accounts? My email recently got hacked so I had to get a new email. I updated all my accounts, including shopping accounts for GAME UK and Tesco Direct. I changed these, but when recently ordering from them both... they send the receipts to my OLD emails. I was very annoyed about this, they are lucky I had access to the old account but still. Anyone else annoyed? I have to make new accounts for each now, I mean they even confirmed that I changed the email address for the sites, yet still send my receipts and newsletters to my old email. What's the point in offering the option to change emails when it never works?

You can normally change you details for online shopping. I tend to keep one for shopping, one for sites I may get spam from, another for personnel emails etc. I never use same password for online either and I use a password generator0

if you still have access to the old email then why did you need a new email? could you have not just changed the password and carried on.0

I tried too. It confirmed the change too. But when purchasing, the receipt still sent to the old email.
(I still have access, but I still regularly get spam email and I had to switch for other reasons too. I haven't used this email in months, but had to log in just to get personal receipts).0
