Royal Mail seem to be doing the decent thing to those customers who were accidently debitted twice via their system, and giving them a £25 goodwill gesture as well of refunding their mistake, other companies could learn from them

yes but thats only to SmartStamp® customers as they are superior to online postage account customers that were also debited twice, but funds never added to their account who were not entitled to any compo etc. until i reminded them that online customers have funds in their accounts also that they cant use and debites that were taken and not placed in customers accounts. It was only after i emailed postwatch (now consumer focus) and RM CEO that they relented and are starting to give the gesture to online postage account holders effected by their mistakes0
