  • My Son sent in an appeal after the ASOS in September with a 3 months sick note. He has now sent a 6 months sick note as he has various appointments at the Hospital. GP put on sick note "Under care of Hospital"
No contact whatsoever from DWP only a letter from Jobcentre saying they had not received His latest sick note.
Luckily he had sent it by Registered Post and it was traced.
How long should it be before he receives a reply?

I had no problem saving a half completed ESA50 to my documents, but when I went back into it to make changes, I then had to save the amended version as 'version 2' (I couldn't just click save, and save the changes to the original form, if that makes sense?)

Actually, if anyone is waiting to be moved from IB to ESA, I recommend doing this as you can make a start on completing the form without the pressure of time scales. But make sure you download the March 2011 version, which is the most recent.

The free Adobe Reader (and some other PDF reader software) is able to save data in form fields in PDFs, you may need an up-to-date version though.

Thank You.I have learned something new.
I have now downloaded the latest version, free from http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/ and now I can save the text I have typed in.

Has anyone waited longer than 3 months for a reply to an appeal?
