How do I check if water is in the Boilermate.
Stick a hose on the unit and drainm some water out. If the level in the header doesn't start to fall then you have a blockage in the feedpipe.

    Cheers

Hi there , we just moved to a house with a "patterton kingfisher fm " boiler.
last night I notice its noise has changed and now it doesnt lit up. the green light doesnt turn on. there is some rumbling noise but it doesnt ignite. could be gas pressure?
the radiotors are cold all the time . any clue?
    thanks

As yours is a different boiler and fault, it is always best to start a new post rather than tag onto a different post.
