Take it back with your receipt, it will have at least 12 months warranty from Argos. They will either replace it, refund you or repair it.

Depending on how the back was snapped

You put toast into a toaster?

Hehe, couldn't resist. Take it back to Argos and hopefully they will swap it for a new one, can't see them going to the trouble of repairing it. If they replace it, keep the receipt they give you.

Reminds me of the old "say the word that i'm spelling" G-H-O-S-T (and so forth with similar sounding words) then you ask them "what do you put in a toaster". The majority of people (unless they know this......trick/gag/whatever) will say toast. You put bread in a toaster of course, toast is what you get out of it :)

Or at least it is unless you have a broken toaster like the OP :X

I do put toast in a toaster as it never properly toasts it the first time around so I have to put it back - then it burns it.

It doesnt have a setting you can change? Or is that it on the highest setting?

Most toasters have a setting that will literally turn it into charcoal.........why on earth would a toaster need a setting that does that? Surely there aren't people that like their toast cremated. Burnt maybe but black? :S

  • Mostly because the wife buys a different type of bread every week which all need a different setting :D
