For large items does anyone here have any experience of reliable long haul couriers?
I want a 3 piece suite which is for sale in Herts, I live in West Yorks, I have asked Shiply for quotes but you cannot talk to them to ask questions it is just an automated (so called) service, no humans involved, or if there are actual people there they are impossible to contact.
Any ideas?

items such as 3 piece suites are very difficult to arrange any transport for.
no one wants to do em. if they do, its likely to be very expensive.
full pallets cost about 65 quid each to move. and you would need two. at least.Get some gorm.0 -
I've used Abbey Antiques very successfully in the past. They primarily deliver their own Ebay sales but will pick up / drop off anywhere in the UK. But you'll need to let them fit you into one of their 'rounds' to keep the cost reasonable.

Or go to Ebay and put 'furniture delivery' into Search. You'll get close to 300 hits ....... but do check the feedback carefully, for each of the couriers, before you're tempted. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
