Happened to be in Brighton & spotted the store. Encountered possibly the most snootiest SA on the planet. It ran out/the refills ran out, it was so popular.....oh yeah - we know that here
Run out ? Really? Acquired a 10ml tube of hand cream (£3 value) after pointing out it was supposed to last til 31st January (store had a few customers so guess she felt obliged to shut me up)
Really glad that's not somewhere I shop much, if ever....nice stuff, can't say the same for the staff.:(Lurking in a galaxy far far away...0 -
To be fair Dark Star, the voucher stated 'or until stocks run out'...you were lucky to come away with some hand cream, so there's no need to be so critical of the staff.0

Actually I am entitled to my opinion...she could have been a lot more helpful & polite (& other stores e.g. london advised they were getting restocked on 31st Dec ...so how come Brighton managed to run out of all possible replacements in just a day or two?)
She was VERY snooty, & I have encountered far more helpful staff in other branches. She clearly thought she was personally paying for the freebies &/or was in a high end store rather than a high street chain store. Over dressed, over made up, more suited to harrods beauty dept. (No I am not being critical of harrods - this is how their staff tend to look, it's part of the "brand" & fits well in that store but not in a seaside chain store!)
Another equally overgroomed girl was trying to explain a crystal deodorant to someone. Customer looked bewildered as the explanation could have been 100% clearer. Less makeup more training perhaps...
Miss Snooty couldn't wait to get me out of the shop as even whilst queuing, she asked if I wanted to do a "return" as I obviously was not holding a product to purchase...she looked like a weasel sucking on a wasp when I produced the voucher.
Now the Lush staff just round the corner) in Brighton - lovely people, VERY helpful & all looked barking mad - all part of the joy of Lush. Would happily go to that branch again..:p
So, not impressed at all perhaps I should stick to the london branches...or LushLurking in a galaxy far far away...0 -
You must have been unlucky in the Brighton store Dark Star as that is where I picked up my freebie before Christmas and the assistant was lovely with me, maybe a bit OTT but not pushy or anything. Shame if some staff let stores down and they get a bad reputation as a result0

It's such a shame that there are always one or two staff that treat customers in an inappropriate manner as that will surely cost them more than one customer, when he or she relays the story to their friends.
I picked up the sample at Westfield in London, the lady was lovely. She explained that the free sample has run out and then showed me two other bottles and asked me which one I wanted. I picked the lavender shampoo instead of the Rose. She then gave me a sachet of the rose shampoo sample and told me to try that too. It was a really great experience I just wanted to share. And I love their hand cream, great product!0 -
Picked up mine today, thanks crazyterrier2000. Had to que up for about 10 minutes, but got it in the end.So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
Hope sharing saves some pain.0
