Post up a time line over on the ebay board (see my signature) and the regulars will help.

You need to say when you bought the phone, how you paid and why you believe seller is reporting you to ebay.

Just go to the resolution centre and open a SNAD, describe the phone as blocked( thats what it sounds like) and let the seller do his moaning in the dispute. Ebay will tell you to return the phone, use special delivery, and you will get a refund. The seller can't do you any harm as you have done nothing wrong, ebay will see through them.

Don't do it in ebay open a dispute in paypal as the timeliness are set and it's quicker.

Normaly I would suggest that, in fact I have just had to open one in paypal, but in this case the seller is threatening the op with reporting them to ebay for some reason or anther, so I was thinking it best to get everything out in the open in an Ebay dispute.

Was the seller a business or an individual?

I'm fairly certain if the payment is for an ebay item then you CANT open a paypal case -- it has to be done via ebay.

You can open a paypal claim, it is also quicker to resolve and is the preffered method.

As bris paypal will try to redirect you but at the bottom of the page in paypal is a choice to do it via paypal not ebay.

I'd still be interested in why the seller thinks he has a case to report the buyer. Does he, or is he using heavy threatening tactics. More info would help.
Yes, I usually tell it as I see it and respond where I see the need, but never are my comments ment to be taken personally.
