  • Good morning, not that it feels good had a carp night sleep thanks to a combination of husband and the cat:mad:, right winge over.

I must go shopping this weekend, fridge is bare but we have done a week living out of the stores which is fantastic and just goes to show there was food in the house and kids and hubby have not mentioned the fact there was no yoghurts or chocolate biscuits, i have baked cakes this week, bulked meals out with frozen veg and we have eaten tinned fruit and icecream for pud, not had chips once, so i'm very pleased with myself, think i should do this every few months, just have a use up week and save some money:j.

Yesterday i recieved a £4 payment from p!necone and i also recieved a box of cereal to test which the children have been munching through this morning and have said is yummy and also some body lotion satchets came through the post, will have a nice bath tonight and try those.

Work is manic, stressful and really not fun at the minute, even the children that i adore are being a right royal pain in the backside.

Have an ebay parcel to post today and its Free listing this weekend so must sort out a few items that need photographing, have 3 0r 4 items than are just a straight relist:).

No more overpayments have been made to Next this week, going to go through my budget this weekend and see what i have left to pay bill wise and what money i need for childrens clubs/food/petrol and hopefully then i can chuck some more money that way.

Hope you have a good day, its nearly the weekend:D.
  • End of another day at work abbd its not been too bad, even got a genuine apology off a very rude child.

Came home to find a parcel containing cappacino (sp) for me to test.

£20 petrol has been put in the car, think thats it for me today.

    Morning Penny
Well done on your survey payout. £47 is a good amount of money. Even better when you forgot you even had it. Good start to the weekend.:)

  • Good morning and it looks as though it way well be a nice day:D.

Went to visit friends yesterday morning they have moved house so went to have a nosy. Came home via Lidl and did a huge shop for £42.85, OH was gobsmacked with how much shopping i got and ranted on about Tesco's over inflated prices all the way home:rotfl:, i just smiled sweetly and nodded and thought finally he has got it. Unpacked shopping grabbed a quick luch and went out again to walk dogs and visit in laws, came back with a dozen eggs so much baking will be done today, spent the evening watching BGT (so glad the dog act won) and drinking vino.

Oh and postie brought me some freebie tomato seeds, but i'm not green fingered so i might pass them onto MIL.

Todays plans are to have a quiet day at home pottering, no need to spend anything today.

    Todays to do list....
    Bake cakes for packed lunches.
    Rhubarb crumble for pud tonight.
    Ironing of school uniforms.
    Muck out DS bedroom:eek:.

    Right better get started.
