Hey everyone,
I am looking to insure my new iphone. I just wondered if anyone could recommend a decent insurance company.
Cheers

I don't have an answer but I just started looking this morning so I'll keep an eye on this thread for ideas. Thanks for starting it.0

I was going to ask the same question, but looking through previous threads on here......Barclaycard Gadget Insurance seems to be decent enough @ £6.99 for my iphone 4s.
Also, if (unlike me) you have Home Insurance - apparently that will include cover for a mobile.0 -
sign up for a barclays cheapest premimum account for £6 a month and you will get loads of other benefits for free on top of mobile phone insurance. Interestingly, if you open a joint account with your partner you can insure two mobile phones for the same account fee. The extra benefits I utilise are £500 worth of gadget insurance (accidental damage included for cameras laptops etc) and extended warranty for any thing in your home you register with them.0

lloyds silver account costs a tenner a month - you get AA cover European travel insurance and phone insurance (£100 excess for smartphones).0

Only consider a value added bank account if you plan to use all the benefits. In some circumstance this could save you money but if you dont use all the benefits it could end up costing you more money.
If you are just after iphone insurance it would be worth considering some of the companies that currently offer this on a standalone basis, as this could be a cheaper option. However always check the small print for any exclusions. It may also be worth checking your home insurance policy (if you have one) that it does not already cover your smartphone.0
