Near the end at 1 hour 56 minsChuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
I dont think they guy was saying anything too controversial - wasn't he just saying that people have to take responsibility for how they manage their money? Thats true isn't it?0

I don't think he was saying any thing too controversial either. Basically, don't put all your eggs into one basket and make sure you leave yourself some wriggle room in case things go t**ts up. He was careful to say that it was people in NE who'd been irresponsible that he'd no sympathy for. Fair enough so far.
However, it seemed fairly obvious that despite what he said he probably didn't have any sympathy for homeowners in any sitaution.
I think people should take responsibility for the bad decisions they make. They should also take responsibility for the bad decisions they didn't make too rather than phoning radio stations and moaning about it.0 -
Continue listening for the final two minutes and a guy called George, who is a 'property speculator', describes the housing market as a car crash in slow motion ...........0

I listened to the bit from 1 hour 56 minutes, but without having heard the part of the programme they were actually having a discussion about I couldnt say whether he was vile or not. And I'm certainly not listening to another two hours of Radio 5 Live on iPlayer trying to find it.
It didn't really sound like the programme wound up with a very optimistic outlook for the housing market.0 -
Typical fanatical extremists unable to see anything wrong with their perception of the subject. You could say the same thing about Nazis or Islamic fundamentalist suicide bombers - 'What do you mean the rest of world thinks there's something wrong with our point of view?'
So wrapped up in their own little warped bubble, their actually shocked when someone calls them 'vile'.
Amazing to witness really.0 -
Sibley and friends are so desperate to make this forum HPC II. It's sad, so sad, it's a sad, sad situation.1. The house price crash will begin.
2. There will be a dead cat bounce.
3. The second leg down will commence.
4. I will buy your house for a song.0 -
