rug gripper

I am looking for the best gripper to stop my rugs from moving. I have 4 circle rugs in my hall on a wood floor everytime the dog runs up them they go flying! I have seen ikea sell stuff, has anyone had this, just looks like felt to me!

Comments

  • Try and get some table felt I had some and it works a treat. Also the stuff from ikea is ok but not as good as the table felt. (the type to stop table cloths slipping or protecting from hot crockery)

Local pound shop look for some rubber none slip mat (its normaly in rolls) a couple of pieces layed between the rug and the floor will do the trick.
If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

  • Best stuff I found was some spray on anti slip from Lakeland. It looks like dilute PVC glue and works really well on wooden floors.

wilkinsons sell it, it was rubbery mesh rather than felt and it worked really well on my grandmas highly polished wooden floor.
My mum used to use the Ikea ones in her childrens nursery school, and again was really happy with it.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
