Block driveway

I've had quote of £5000 to do a 90sq metre drive. How does that sound as it sounds a lot of money to me.

  • What setts are you using? I'm presuming they are included & that it's not labour only.
  • It's standard blocks which I'm sure are 60mm. Half the front garden is concrete and the other half is patio/lawn.

    I asked tentatively a man who was doing one down the street and he said £45/£50 a square yard (or metre) I'm in north Yorkshire
    make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
    and we will never, ever return.

    my wifes friend had one done a few yrs ago. 3 bed semi driveway. blue sets.
    5k total cost.

    i thought it looked bloody awful.
