As an old git who likes to make sure I am getting the best possible deals for utility services I often ask U switch to supply me with the best deals available in my area for electricity.
Uswitch suggested a move from Scottish Power to N power would save me in the region of £140 pa.I took their word & changed, when the tariff came through I was able to look at the numbers . That £140 had shrunk to virtually nothing . I asked U switch to go through the numbers with me ,I received an e mail promising that their technical team would explain , after a few weeks I had received no explanation. I am no fool & know how to calculate the tariffs on offer.
I am back with Scottish Power who offer a better package & I shall never trust U switch to do my sums for me again .
BEWARE !!!!!

If I understand things correctly, uswitch get payed for every referral, and have therefore a vested interest in advising people to switch. To me, that constitutes a conflict of interest.0
