Credit card with UK-only call centres?

    Nationwide has call centre in UK.

    The reason that no one mentioned Nationwide was that the OP's question was

  • I've spoke to Barclaycard in Northampton before, and Barclays in Coventry before, but it's rare.

    I don't doubt that there are others.

    It's worth knowing that while banks like Lloyds TSB make a big deal of UK only callcentres, they use companies in India and Manila for collection of unpaid debts (including credit cards).

    I'm sure it would be the same for other Lloyds Banking Group brands.

    It goes without saying that dealing with an off-shore callcentre while trying to sort out debts is very trying to say the least.
