Reminds me of the scene in the Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin where Reggie, having faked his own death, turns up to his own funeral disguised as his brother.

They are all saying ridiculous things about him at the funeral but he can't say anything or else that will give away his identity.

Well done for getting financial education in schools to this stage of a debate in parliament :T

Why on earth do you publish this stuff without getting it proofread???

Makes a mockery of 'democracy' when the public are not allowed to speak.

Trying for a lordship martin, or a political position as a minister? Keep sucking up to them, its not what you know, its who you brown nose.
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

...Certainly 10 years from now, I'd like not to be in day-to-day control of the site. I'd like to be in policy, on financial education and mental health and debt, the two issues that really drive me. Not in parliament, no. But in policy.[/quite]

The establishment deals with nuisance people in two ways. It either attacks them, or tries to absorb them. I suspect that in the case of Martin Lewis, the second is in progress.
