DSR only applies if the OP didn't but in store and I'm not sure that's the case.
I had a similar issue with LA recently and threatened to cancel my order and was advised that, as the items (sofas) were made to order, there would be a cancellation charge (I think it was 10% ish).
In the end I didn't bother cancelling . . . .0 -
I would be feeling as miserable as sin too. But it's always a gamble, I've hung on waiting for a further reduction and then the items sold out or gone back to full price.
I think full on charm is the best bet, maybe you can negotiate something , best of luck !0 -
How long was it before u ordered them to when u saw them go down ?0

Bought some boots on Amazon recently only to see them reduced later in the week. As they dont reduce the price of an existing order, I used their free returns to send back the first pair, and free delivery to buy the second pair at the lower price.
So, instead of giving me the lower price, they gave me the lower price, and paid about £20 in delivery/couriers, and had an additional lot of picking and packing, and had to deal with a return from both the receipt/inspection/putaway and refund.

This happened to me 2 years ago and I was furious especially as I had paid the full price, then a friend told me Laura Ashley do 30% or more discount days/weekends all the time several times a year and I was kicking myself for being so daft and paying full price.
Never buy their furniture at full price, if you wait they will have various discounts throughout the year on all their furniture, often lasting a few days. On the plus side I managed to buy the matching TV cabinet I wanted but couldnt afford so there was a plus side to it in the end.
