I ordered new contract mobile for my son in November 2011, it came with a free television.

The phone arrived within days, but the tv went missing with the courier ( how you can lose a 40 inch tv is beyond me). Have phone the mobile phone company, who have asked me to send security declaration forms, which I did, recorded delivery. Although I have a record of it having been received by them on 14th December, they cant do anything about it as it isnt on their system yet.
Asked a manager to phone me and was told that I would have to wait 48 hours. 48 hours is up and they still have not phoned.
Im at my wits end and have been told that I cant cancel my contract with them as the phone was received in November (I havent opened it, as together they were a xmas present for my son)
Im at my wits end as to what to do. Phone company are saying that it maybe after New Year before their investigation is completed? Ive done nothing wrong and someone in the courier company is sitting with a shiny new TV
